Public marketing pages
The pages at theloweestate.com and firedatagateway.com do not intentionally set advertising, personalisation or behavioural-analytics cookies. We do not use a cookie banner for those pages because we do not load optional cookies there. Cloudflare may use necessary security measures to deliver and protect a page; these can include short-lived cookies when a security check is required.
Our visitor count
When a public page loads, it may send a request to our private LUNA service. We use a one-way hash of the network address and browser type to estimate unique visitors and page views for up to 90 days. For up to 30 days, LUNA also keeps the IP address in encrypted form, browser and platform type, and an approximate location supplied by the network provider when available. Only the System Owner can view those details and a map of the estimated location. IP location can be wrong and does not show a person’s precise position. We use this information to understand site use, investigate problems and protect our services under our legitimate interests. We do not set a visitor identifier in a cookie or local storage, and we do not send the visitor-count request when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Shared networks, changing addresses and blocked JavaScript affect the estimates.
Sign-in and application storage
Applications such as LUNA and the FireData Workbench need to keep you signed in and remember choices made during your session. Depending on the application, they may use a strictly necessary session cookie, session storage or local storage for sign-in state, security and interface preferences. Signing out removes active access where the application supports it; you can also clear site data in your browser. We do not use application sign-in information for advertising.
Other services on a page
Some applications show maps or other content supplied by third parties. Loading that content may disclose routine connection information to the provider. Where a feature asks for device location, it is used only after you grant the browser permission for that feature. We explain product-specific data use in the relevant service information.
Your choices
You can block or remove cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in or parts of an application from working. You can use your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting to opt out of our public page visitor count.
Questions
Use the estate enquiry form for privacy questions. For FireData Gateway questions, use its privacy enquiry route. Do not include passwords or operational records in either form.
